Weekend Stroll
Matt and I had a wonderful weekend. This past weekend we
just hung out at the house and watched movies together. One of my sisters,
Ashley, came home for spring break while Autumn stayed at school to catch up on
school work. Either way, Matt and I were glad to see her. On Saturday, Matt and I went down to Fed Hill’s
Irish Stroll with our two best friends; Mike and Laura. We had a blast! We started
at 3pm and went to a bunch of different bars. Some of the highlight moments
during the stroll was dancing in the streets to the Spice Girls, Backstreet
Boys and N*SYNC with Laura. Trying to let a group of people pass us (who were
all highly intoxicated) and having one guy touch my boob as he said “excuse me
girl”. So funny! And seeing some old friends from my high school. We were all
walking back to the car to pay more into the meter and on our way we ran into
my oldest friend, Shelby Sos and Callie Weaver. Shelby and I have known each
other since pre-K. We went to the same private school together; we were in girl
scouts together, played field hockey together. And went to CHS together. Even
though, Shelby and I are not as close as we were while we were growing up, I’m
really lucky to have her in my life. Callie and I went to the same middle and
high school together. We played rec league basketball in middle school and we
shared some classes together. It was just really nice to catch up with old
friends.
After the Stroll, we went back to Mike and Laura’s house and
we just hung out and watched TV and drank some wine and enjoyed each other’s
company. Matt and I are so lucky to have
them in our lives. I know that we can be hand full together but Mike and Laura
seem to be able to handle our madness in their lives.
On Sunday, Matt and I just recovered from all the excitement.
We spend this day as a catchup day. We went to the grocery shopping, did some
laundry and cleaned the bedroom and bathroom. During the Stroll, Laura invited
us to their house for the Bachelor season finale, which was just so insane. So
Matt watched the last two episodes of the Bachelor so he had an idea of what
was going on. Honestly, I was really disappointed in the season finale of the
Bachelor. I was thinking about just ending my relationship with the Bachelor.
But I already know that I’m going to end up watching it again in May. Oh well.
I love my friends and family so much. I have the best times when I'm with them. So I created a small clip on Flipgram and I wanted to share my wonderful friends and family with everyone. I hope you enjoy.
